SENIOR TRANSPORTATION MANAGER /
TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT HEAD
Our Dixon, Illinois office is seeking a dynamic
individual with 15+ years of successful transportation engineering
experience for a lead position within our firm.
The purpose of this
position is to provide professional, technical and day-to-day supervision,
guidance and input to the Transportation Department in the Dixon office and
all other offices within our firm. The successful candidate will be
responsible for the production of projects in accordance with current
engineering knowledge and practices of both our firm and our clients.
The successful candidate will lead project
engineering and project management for large and small transportation
projects, site design and storm water projects. He / she must have
excellent oral and written communication skills; feel comfortable preparing
contracts and fee estimates for clients of all types; be confident in the
role of a mentor and leader to engineers and technicians working both in the
department and in the entire firm; perform annual performance reviews of
departmental staff; and directly supervise 6 - 8 engineers and technicians.
To be considered for this position, the candidate must:
Display proven
leadership and be able to present himself / herself professionally to
clients
Have 15+ years of
engineering experience
Have a minimum of a
B.S. in Civil Engineering; a MSCE is a plus
Be a Licensed
Professional Engineer in Illinois, or be able to obtain by reciprocity
within a reasonable length of time.
Salary range is
$80,000 - $105,000. In
addition to the base compensation, the successful candidate will also be
paid for each hour worked above the standard 40 hour week.

Person / Field Technician. Duties will include construction layout for both
residential and commercial sites, analysis and calculation for ALTA / ACSM
