Matt is a Vice President and Project
Engineer at Willett, Hofmann & Associates, Inc. with eighteen
years of experience in the planning, design and implementation
of water and wastewater distribution system extension projects,
the modification and improvements for water and wastewater
treatment plant processes, and other related projects in the
environmental arena.

Polo, Waterworks Improvements
Responsible for the planning, design,
project administration and construction management of a 500,000
gallon elevated water storage tank, 1.0 miles of 12 diameter
watermain, modifications to the existing Well No. 4 and booster
pump station and water system control upgrade.

Davis Junction, New Waterworks System
Responsible for planning, design, project
administration and construction management including
coordination with IDOT, FAA and IEPA for the permitting and
construction of a 500 gpm deep well, a 500,000 gallon composite
style elevated water storage tank, an iron removal water
treatment plant, 4.5 miles of 8, 12 and 16 diameter water
mains and a waterworks building that include lab, office, and
maintenance facilities.

Rochelle, Water Distribution Modeling
Responsible for the modeling of the Citys
waterworks system using the Haestad Methods Cybernet program.
The water distribution modeling was used to evaluate the
existing system and to make recommendations for improvements to
the system to provide that necessary fire flow required at the
new Rochelle High School.

and
Watermain Improvements
Responsible for the planning, design,
project administration and construction management for the
construction of 1.8 miles of 12 and 16 diameter watermain and
10, 12, 18 and 21 diameter sanitary sewer to service
industrial growth southeast of the City.

and
Watermain Improvements
Responsible for the planning, design,
project administration and construction management for the
construction of 7,842 lineal feet of 16 diameter watermain
and 4,832 lineal feet of 21 diameter sanitary sewer to service
industrial and residential growth west of the City.

Village of
Davis Junction, New WWTP and Sanitary Trunk Sewer
Matt was responsible for the planning and
design for the construction of a new 0.60 MGD activated sludge
extended aeration treatment plant and approximately 2.4 miles of
15, 18, 21 and 30 diameter sanitary sewers. The project
included coordination with the IEPA and Sierra Club for a new
NPDES permit for the WWTP. The project also involved a
successful request for financing through the IEPA Revolving Fund
Loan program.

Dixon, Plum Creek Sanitary Trunk Sewer
Responsible for the planning and design of
the Plum Creek Sanitary Trunk Sewer which consists of 4.4 miles
of 8, 10, 15, 18, 21 and 24 diameter sanitary sewer. This
sanitary trunk sewer will eliminate two existing sewage lift
stations and service 3,500 acres Northwest of the City.

Rochelle, Northeast Sanitary Trunk Sewer
Responsible for the planning and design of
Phase I of the Northeast Sanitary Trunk Sewer which consists of
7,413 lineal feet of 15, 21 and 24 diameter sanitary sewer.
The Northeast Sanitary Trunk Sewer will service 2,200 acres.

Rochelle, Intermodal Drive Sewerage Improvements
Responsible for the planning, design,
project administration and construction management for the
construction of a 750 gpm submersible sewage lift station, 2,000
L.F. of connecting 12 diameter forcemain to the municipal WWTP,
and 7,600 L.F. of 15, 21 and 24 diameter sanitary sewer to
service the new Union Pacific Global III intermodal railport.

Village of
Davis Junction, Subdivision Review
Matt was responsible for the review of
Harvest Glenn (622 Lots), Panning Place (237 Lots), Ogle
Crossing (345 Lots) and Park View East & West (70 Lots) on
behalf of Davis Junction. Matt reviewed all preliminary and
final plats and infrastructure construction drawings for
compliance with the Villages comprehensive plan and zoning and
subdivision ordinances, and compliance with the IEPAs
regulations for construction of sewerage and wasteworks
facilities. Matt was also responsible for reviewing stormwater
management plans, intersection design study reports and permit
applications to various state agencies which require the
Villages execution.
