WORK EXPERIENCE
Mike is a senior engineer in our
Transportation Department with twenty-three years of
experience. His expertise includes the design of local street
and county highway projects, site development including parking
lot facilities and storm water detention, sanitary sewer
projects, and boat access facilities. He also assists local
governmental agencies with the planning and budgeting for
various maintenance and construction projects.

County, Illinois - Bell School Road
Responsible for design and project
administration for the re-construction of 3,550 feet of 2-lane
rural roadway to a 5-lane urban street including storm sewer, 2
regional detention areas, traffic signals, and future bike path.

Responsible for the design of 5,800 feet
of urban streets including storm sewer and 2 regional detention
facilities for a 38 Acre/123 Lot Subdivision.

Medical Center/Sterling-Rock Falls Clinic, Sterling, Illinois -
Parking Lot Facilities
Responsible for the design and project
administration of parking lot facilities for a new
rehabilitation center, daycare facility, new clinic annex, and
expansion of the existing hospital and clinic facilities. This
work also included storm water detention and construction of 400
feet of urban street to access the new clinic annex.

Responsible for the design and project
administration for construction of a 2-lane boat launch ramp at
the Mississippi River including floating docks and parking lot

Responsible for the design and project
administration of new parking lot facilities at Lincoln,
Jefferson, Woodlawn and Franklin Elementary Schools and 2
parking lot facilities at Sterling High School. These projects
included above and below ground storm water detention facilities
and a secondary use of a driver training facility at one of the
high school lots.

Responsible for the design, project
administration, and construction management for a 6 square block
redevelopment project involving:
· Reconstruction
of 1,475 feet of City streets including traffic signals to
re-route IL Route 2 traffic around development area.
· Re-routing
670 feet of 24” sanitary sewer around anchor store.
· Layout
and design of interior access roads and parking lot facilities
including 4 outlot areas.

Sterling, Illinois - East End Sanitary Sewer Extension
Responsible for the design, project
administration and construction management for an 8,358 feet
extension of the sanitary sewer system to service new
development and expansion on the City’s east side. The project
included 2 roadway crossings by installing a 24” casing pipe by
push and auger, and 895 feet of sewer service.
