WORK EXPERIENCE
Jerry is Chief Transportation Engineer
with over thirty-seven years of experience in the transportation
field. His areas of expertise include assisting clients in
recommending various maintenance operations and construction
procedures, design of site plans, recreation paths, street and
highway projects including traffic signals, traffic generation
reports, intersection design and capacity studies, storm sewer
and detention area design, as well as parking lot design and
optimization.
Jerry has designed local roads,
intersections and state highways requiring extensive horizontal
and vertical geometries for the standard truck WB-65 with wide
turning radii and 80,000 pound pavement design. He is also
experienced in the IDOT Truck Access Road Program (TARP) funds
and those design procedures.

Rockford, East State/Roxbury/Arnold Intersection
Supervisor overseeing the design of turn
lanes and traffic signalization for the intersection.
City of
Sterling, Lynn Blvd - IL Route 2 to Freeport Road
Project Manager for FAU project of about
0.56 miles of four-lane concrete pavement resurfacing with SAF
and polymerized asphalt and new concrete curb and gutter and
pipe drains.
City of
Rochelle, Flagg/Caron Road - IL Rte 2 to IL Rte 251
Project Manager responsible for the design
of 1.32 miles of urban roadway and intersection improvements in
Rochelle.
Ogle
County, Flagg Road
Responsible for the development of a
four-lane road and traffic study on Flagg Road west of the City
of Rochelle.
Private
Development
Project Manager responsible for the
development of an Intersection Design Study, site layout,
stormwater management with detention, new street construction
and the addition of turn lanes off Illinois Route 2 for a major
grocery store chain in the City of Sterling.
Ogle
County, Steward Road
Responsible for a corridor study for the
future development of industry including traffic generation and
capacity studies.

Construction Company, Milledgeville, Illinois
Site design for a 4.8 acre assisted living
center in Sycamore, Illinois, including stormwater management
plan, parking lot layout and design, and various utilities
including sanitary sewer and water.
The Dennis
Group, Salt Lake City, Utah
Site design and storm water management for
United Distillers in Plainfield, Illinois on approximately 35
acres, including parking lots, truck docks, and various storm
sewer locations.
