WORK EXPERIENCE

 

 

Gary A. Holt has been an active surveyor for twenty-eight years.

 

His experience includes both field data collection and office analysis.  Gary’s field experience includes construction layout for both residential and commercial sites, analysis and calculation for ALTA/ACSM surveys, boundary surveys, topographical surveys and route surveys.  Office analysis and research include writing meets and bounds legal descriptions and research of deeds, abstracts and title commitments. 

 

Gary is a member of the Illinois Professional Land Surveyors Association and abides by the rules and standards of practice for Professional Land Surveyors in the State of Illinois.

 

PROJECT EXPERIENCE

 

Mechanical, Inc. - Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Sterling

The project consisted of providing professional surveying and construction layout services for a new distribution center to be built on 142 acres of vacant land in Sterling, Illinois.  Gary surveyed the site which included staking of a complex network of water and sewer services and verifying existing structures.

 

I.D.O.T. - IL Route 26 Right-of-Way

The project consisted of a survey, preparation of right-of-way plats and  easement plats, writing legal descriptions and preparation of premise plats for Illinois Route 26 south of Forreston.  As a Professional Land Surveyor, Gary performed the day to day work which included field analysis, data collection and pins for properties and right-of-ways.

 

Miscellaneous Surveys

Gary routinely performs surveys for a number of private jobs ranging from city lots to farms containing hundreds of acres.  These jobs may involve marking property corners, subdividing tracts, establishing boundaries, courthouse research and coordination with attorneys, property owners, zoning boards and/or IDOT.
