WORK EXPERIENCE
Tom is Head of the Architectural
Department for Willett, Hofmann & Associates. Uniquely
qualified as both a licensed architect and a licensed
professional engineer, Tom is able to offer a blend of
aesthetically appealing design that works effectively and
efficiently with site design and other engineering disciplines.
Tom has over twenty-one years of experience in the planning,
design and construction of engineering and architectural
projects, including remodeling, renovations, additions and new
construction for a wide variety of building types and clients.
Tom is also a Leadership in Energy and
Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional through the
United States Green Building Council. With his understanding
of green building practices and sustainable design principles,
Tom has the knowledge and skill to successfully steward the LEED
Certification process.
With his education and diverse experience,
Tom brings unique qualifications and perspectives to the design
team for each project.

Project Architect for renovations to
readapt a 100 year old three-story former school building into a
Smithsonian Institution Affiliate Standard Museum and community
educational center.
First
State Bank of Shannon-Polo-Lake Carroll - Lake Carroll, Illinois
Project Architect for the design of a new
1,600 SF branch facility located in Lake Carroll, Illinois.
Pinecrest
Grove - Mount Morris, Illinois
Project Architect for the design of four
prototypical senior housing cottages within a 20 acre senior
living development.
Sauk
Valley Community College - Dixon, Illinois
Project Architect/Engineer for a variety
of projects including protection, health and safety projects and
other capital projects including building remodeling and
addition projects and infrastructure improvements projects.
City of
Fulton, Illinois - Fulton Windmill Welcome Center
Project Architect/Engineer for the design
and construction of an authentic fully functional Dutch Windmill
on the banks of the Mississippi River in Fulton’s Central
Business District. Awarded a 2000 CECI Engineering Excellence
Merit Award for the project.

Council On Aging - Renovation of The Post House
Project Architect for the renovation of a
circa 1900 Post Office into a multipurpose assembly and banquet
facility.

Project Architect for the design of an
addition to house an elevator and provide direct access from
parking to the Fellowship Hall and Sanctuary.

Prophetstown, Illinois - City Hall Renovation
