WORK EXPERIENCE

 

Tom is Director of Architectural Services for Willett, Hofmann & Associates and is also a design engineer in the structural engineering department.  Tom has over nineteen years experience in the planning, design and construction of engineering and architectural projects, including remodeling, renovations, additions and new construction for a wide variety of building types and clients.  With his education and diverse experience, Tom brings unique qualifications and perspectives to the design team for each project.

ARCHITECTURAL PROJECTS

 

Sauk Valley Community College - Dixon, Illinois

Project Architect and Project Engineer for numerous projects since 2003.  Projects have included Protection, Health and Safety Projects, Locally Funded Capital Projects and Other Capital Projects including building addition projects and other building and infrastructure improvements projects.

 

City of Fulton, Illinois - Fulton Windmill Welcome Center

Project Architect/Engineer for the design and construction of an authentic fully functional Dutch Windmill on the banks of the Mississippi River in Fulton’s Central Business District.  Awarded a 2000 CECI Engineering  Excellence Merit Award for the project.

 

AAA Galvanizing - New Facility, Dixon, Illinois

Project Architect/Engineer for the design and construction of a new 60,000 SF facility housing corporate offices and  process areas.

 

Lee County Council On Aging - Renovation of The Post House

Project Architect for the renovation of a circa 1900 Post Office into a multipurpose assembly and banquet facility.

 

Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church - Building Addition

Project Architect for the design of an addition to house an elevator and  provide direct access from parking to the Fellowship Hall and Sanctuary.

 

City of Prophetstown, Illinois - City Hall Renovation

Project Architect for the complete renovation of City Hall to provide a more pleasant and updated environment as well as provide for additional space for the Police Department.

 

Mt. Morris Savings & Loan - New Facility

Project Architect for the design of a new 2,500 SF drive-up branch facility to be located in Davis Junction, Illinois.

 

Dixon Historical Center - Dixon, Illinois

Project Architect for the on-going renovations of a former three-story school building to an Archival Standard Museum with community interaction rooms.

 

STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING PROJECTS

 

Holcomb State Bank New Facility - Rochelle, Illinois

Structural designer for a new 26,000 SF 3-story multi-use building.

 

First United Methodist Church - Belvidere, Illinois
