Entry Level Transportation Engineer
Our Dixon, Illinois office is currently seeking an entry level engineer to work in our Transportation Department under the supervision of an Illinois Licensed Professional Engineer. Duties will include planning, designing and project management for roads, streets and highways; parking lots; intersection design studies; traffic capacity analyses; traffic signals; roadway and pavement maintenance; street lighting; site development; recreation paths; and storm water management, including drainage studies and detention basins.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a Transportation emphasis (will also accept candidates with a Master's degree). Licensed Professional Engineers (P.E.), graduates who are working towards their professional license (E.I. and E.I.T.), and students who will be achieving their Bachelor of Science degree in the near future are all encouraged to apply.
