Architect (Dixon Office)
Job Summary
We are seeking a licensed Architect with 10+ years of experience to assist in the management and growth of our Architectural Department. This full-time position will be based in our Dixon, IL office and requires a minimum of a Bachelor of Architecture Degree with a Professional Architectural License(s). This position will be responsible for the development of design solutions for a variety of project types, communication with clients, consultants, agencies and staff, as well as the technical and production aspects of projects from project inception through project completion. Duties and Responsibilities
- Development and execution of project design solutions
- Build and maintain client relationships
- Prepare professional service agreements

Requirements and Qualifications

Entry Level Transportation Engineer (Dixon Office)
Job Summary
Our Dixon, IL office is seeking an entry level engineer to work in the Transportation Department under the supervision of an Illinois Licensed Professional Engineer. This successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and will be performing assignments designed to develop professional knowledge and abilities, requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related engineering tasks. Field/Office Survey Worker (Dixon Office)
Job Summary
Our Dixon, IL office is currently seeking a land surveyor with a four-year degree from an accredited university. This successful candidate must either have or be close to achieving a Bachelor of Science degree in Land Surveying or comparable degree. The candidate will be responsible for performing calculations, preparing plats and legals in addition to field operations that include taking field notes and data collection. Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop construction layouts for both residential and commercial sites
- Analyze and perform calculations for ALTA/ACSM surveys, boundary surveys, topographical surveys and route surveys
- Ensure that a project is surveyed and analyzed as accurately and professional as possible
- Prepare plats of survey, right-of-way plats and computations
- Field work will be required from time to time for topo’s & boundary surveys
- Client coordination
Requirements and Qualifications
- Either have obtained or will be obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Land Surveying or comparable degree
- An interest in attaining a Professional Land Surveying license
- Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation and Geopack Suite is a plus

Survey Worker (Moline Office)
Job Summary
Our Moline, IL office is currently seeking a full-time Survey Worker to work as a member of a Survey Crew performing boundary, topography, ALTA, right of way and construction surveys for public and private clients. This successful candidate will also be responsible for the operation and maintenance of survey equipment, taking field notes, data collection, performing calculations and working with staff and clients on these projects. This position requires an Associate’s Degree in Survey Technology or comparable degree, or a minimum of 2 years’ experience. Competitive wage and benefit package offered.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collects data using field notes and other forms of data collection.
- Is familiar with and able to operate all of the instrumentation required for the collection of survey data (total station, data collector, level and GPS receivers).
- Transmits survey data to the proper files in the computer network and be able to acquire the data for field use.
- Marks points of measurement with elevation, station number, or other identifying mark.
- In the field, will act as another set of eyes for the Foreman. Is expected to report any instrument malfunctions to the Foreman immediately. Is expected to perform a mental double check of the field activities and confirm adherence to standards.
- Returns all equipment to the assigned location at the end of the day.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Either have obtained or will be obtaining an Associate’s Degree in Survey Technology or comparable degree OR have a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
