WHA presents at annual Illinois Transportation and Highway Engineering Conference March 3, 2026.
Project ROCK (Revitalizing Opportunities for the Community and Kids) is a federally funded RAISE (Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity) Grant project located in the City of Dixon. The project consists of the construction of a new pedestrian bridge, with modifications to existing railroad piers, over the Rock River. The project also includes 1 mile of roadway improvements to adjacent Page Drive and the construction of 2.5 miles of multi-use paths throughout Page Park. This project has long been included in the City’s master plan and will connect to existing recreational paths on both sides of the river. The project is currently under construction and is scheduled to be completed in 2026.
